Comments: Excellent, like all Mr. Maass's titles. After the first twenty pages I was already making changes to my work in progress. I have five titles published, but learning the craft is a never ending process, and The Fire In Fiction has given me new ways to approach the work.

Comments: I remember sitting next to Don during a writers conference and hearing him explain the theory & concept behind this book. He had every second of my attention then, and this book delivers on the promise. He knows what drives fiction and his advice is a boon to writers trying to succeed in the commercial market.
