I got this book a few years back for my birthday. Ever since I have kept it and used it very well. Dr. Guiley brings her skills gained in a background as a professional journalist to the field of the supernatural in all her books, and this is no exception. Even if you don't believe in the supernatural, you can never say that she doesn't know what she's talking about. She's the leading expert, and the person I'll always turn to, having read a fair number of her books.
