| Comments: This writer really breaks down what is essential to produce believable characters and building ideas into a novel. The author gives exercises which help guide a new writer from being overwhelmed to really understanding and enriching the characters and storyline. I also valued the tone of the writer, who encourages the reader, yet doesn't sugarcoat the amount a work that goes into a novel. I find the book well worth the money; the exercises alone have helped me down from a mountain of research and confusion to a valley that's much more manageable to traverse. | |
