- Essential. Eye-opening. Review by Elizabeth
One of the best books on craft I have ever read.
Kress takes the part of the story you are having issues with and shows you that it's not an island. She reveals how beginnings, middles, and ends rely on each other. She proves that "I have a problem with my ending," is an over-simplification, because it really means "I have a problem with my beginning and my middle that is affecting my ending."
I highly recommend this book. It will illuminate your view of your stories and the issues within them.

- Elements of Writing- Begin, Middlle, End Review by Kerry
I've got all the 'elements' series and they are all pack-full of great advice. I've highlighted and dog-eared all of them, and reread every one extensively. Truly a good investment.
